Is Everything but the Bagel Sesame Seasoning Blend really worth obsessing over?
Is air necessary for life? I first grabbed a bottle in January and we went through it faster than you can say ‘Pass the seasoning’. I then went back and Trader Joe’s to graab some more bottles but the shelves were bare, therefore, I ordered a 6-pack from Amazon.
I have already been making my daughter bagels and lox covered in the everything seasoning, adding it to vegan baby kale and spinach soup, and experimenting with it on almost everything.
What is the difference between a crustless quiche and a frittata?
You would think that while I am in the hospital, I could not be cooking however, I actually made this crustless quinoa quiche a week prior to my admission.
why am I calling it a crustless quiche rather than a frittata? There really isn’t a big difference however, a frittata is often topped with some cheese, and the cooking/melting completed in the oven.
I decided to go with a crustless quiche so that it doesn’t have a heavy of a bite. I was tempted to try making it with a cauliflower crust, but decided to keep it simple, but include the quinoa for a powerful protein punch!
Speaking of simple, I wasn’t going to include the feta, but thought it might need a touch of zing, so if you prefer dairy free, simply omit the feta, and keep the rest of the recipe as is below.
Cook ahead and store
This crustless quiche can easily be made a day or two ahead of time, wrapped well with plastic wrap, and refrigerated. When ready to eat, simply slice and warm in the microwave, or heat in the oven.
Do I need to eat this for breakfast?
Heck no. This is an anytime meal type of recipe. You can even remove or add whatever ingredients you want to make it more of a lunch or dinner meal. Plus, you can always decide to make a quiche with a crust if you prefer.
