I decided to give it a try via the whole foods/elimination route, and commit to the Whole30 diet. Seeing how it has been almost three weeks since I started, I asked some fellow food bloggers for some Whole30 recipes ideas.
Why am I doing this? Soon after I completed my chemotherapy treatment for Acute Myeloid Leukemia, I have had some aggressive auto-immune flare-ups, pretty much of the Arthritic kind.
The problem is that the oncologist doesn’t want me taking any of the medications the Rheumatologist has recommended, due to some my cell counts (I am quite behind in bringing you all up to speed about my AML) being low, so I am trying to see what I can do to somehow try to lessen, control or eliminate the pain and inflammation.
