I know you are going to agree with this statement: Some, if not most days, you need a short-cut for some tasks right?
One area that most of us need help with is getting dinner on the table but not throwing all nutritional value out the window. The pizza that I am sharing with you today is made with all Non-GMO items, vegetables, and fresh mozzarella.
The items that comprise this recipe are shaved brussel sprouts from Trader Joe’s, a Rustic Crust pizza shell along with their a sauce (Hooray for non-gmo products) and some fresh mozzarella. Oh, and don’t think I hide the brussel sprouts under tons of cheese because that is not the case.
Now normally, I place nice round slices of mozzarella on the pizza but I forgot and went ahead trying to grate it this time – don’t try to grate fresh mozzarella as you will lose your sanity and possibly some part of your knuckle.
Ingredients:
1 Premade pizza shell
1/2 cup sauce
fresh mozzarella
1/3 cup shaved brussel sprouts
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven according to the manufacturer’s pizza crust packaging.
2. Spread the sauce over the pizza shell, top with Brussels sprouts, and mozzarella. Bake are instructed.
My trick to getting the kids to eat this with Brussels sprouts? No trick, is pizza!
Tasty short-cut eh? what are your best short-cuts?
