I shared with you back in June that my very enlarged right Thyroid gland was not due to a Tumor but then what could it be? Now, we know….and so the process begins.
I am so sorry that you are having to deal with this, but I am glad that you have some answers and can hopefully start the journey to feeling better. Thanks for sharing your story. It is not always easy to do that, but I am sure it will help others.
So sorry you’ve had to go through all of this…but HOORAY for finally having a diagnosis!! Now go kick Hashimoto’s ass, please. xoxo!

Stephanie, I would love any recommendations that you care to share.
I can tell you after being diagnosed with Hashimoto’s 10 years ago, it is a manageable disease. I am always trying new things because our bodies are very good at adapting. After a while it will become your normal and seem less overwhelming. I wish I could say I found a secret cure but I haven’t. Just stick with what you’re doing Jennifer, your healthy lifestyle will put you leaps and bounds ahead of others with this disease : ) I’m here for any support you need!
Jennifer, so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, but I’m glad you got to the bottom of it finally. I know you will do whatever it takes to regain your health for yourself and your family. Sending hugs your way.

Yeah for a diagnosis!!! The not knowing or understanding why your body is betraying you has huge negative effects. Knowing what’s wrong and developing a plan to deal with it brought me a since of relief when diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis 12 years ago. Autoimmune disease stinks but hopefully you’ll be able to implement a treatment that will make you feel like your old self in no time!
Jen, so sorry to hear this, but glad you have finally gotten a diagnosis. I have had a long time of dealing with immune system things as well. I can give you some suggestions related to diet, and/or put you in touch with a wonderful naturopath as well. Sending a hug!

Jen – so good to know you have a diagnosis and are so very positive and optimistic about managing it. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers, and let me know if there’s anything I can do to support you. 🙂 xxoo
I’m certain your video will help many in similar circumstances…so well done. I’m glad you have a diagnosis…now on to the best treatment for your particular case. Wishing you improved health and symptoms from this day forward. PS…I have Reynaud’s, too, but never knew it was autoimmune…see you’re educating in so many ways (and I’m a nurse!).
Just by talking about it brings more awareness, support and love to all who live with chronic illness. You are incredibly brave to be sharing this with the world and I hope you can feel all the healing vibes coming your way.
Good for you for knowing your body and not stopping until you had answers. I’m so sorry you’ve had to deal with so much on the health front, but at least now you know what’s going on and you can start your plan of attack on it. Let me know if you need anything. xxoo

i would love to try and encourage you to seek/learn about all natural therapies.
you would be AMAZED at what you find; I would love to help you on this.
AND we need to hook up woman.
Aw hon. This sucks, but I am so glad it isn’t anything more dangerous. Keep us posted. There is supposedly a lot you can do with food and natural remedies to help treat autoimmune disorders so hopefully you can find a way to manage it so that you enjoy great quality of life despite this nasty thing. love and hugs and all that jazz!!! xo
Jennifer, I’m so sorry that you are dealing with all of this. At the same time, I’m glad you have something to wrap your brain around and start moving forward.
I’m guessing that you already know this, but just in case…Carrie of Deliciously Organic suffers from Hashimoto’s disease (she’s very open about this on her blog). I’d imagine she would be a fantastic resource and support through your next steps in dealing with this.
