Blood, Sweat & Tears would not be unique but there were none here. Nope, Sunday began with excitement because today was ear piercing day. No, not for me you sillies but for our daughter.
She has been asking for months and yesterday was the day. I think I was more nervous for her and I cringed waiting for the tears to begin. It was close but nothing, just a bit of wide-eyed anxiety and it was done.
Following the ear piercing, deep breathing and jumping for joy, we enjoyed the end of our Girl Scout year with a Build-A-Bear party. First, there was the badge presentation followed by bear stuffing…
Don’t forget the heart!
The we did some shopping, drove home in nasty Thunderstorms and ate dinner.
I stopped counting but I am rather sure that I heard ‘I can’t believe I got my ear’s pierced Mom’ about 18,000 times.
You must come back tomorrow when you see what I made to help me ‘deal’ with my ongoing throat problems. Oh, it is good enough to make you continually belt out ‘Bwah ha ha ha ha!!’ while making it.
