Stinky fifth’s disease and it’s nasty rashes. My girl somehow contracted fifth’s disease, like many of the elementary set in these parts, and woke up today with the slapped face rash. Seriously, that is what it is called and looks like.
It looks like a group of her stuffed animals attacked her during the night and now she is all puffy, rashy and pink-red. Yes, you can go to school this way as once the rash appears, you are no longer contagious (thanks viruses).
Any-who: the morning has been filled with a bit of exercise, a quick jaunt to the store, more cleaning, admiring of the wood floors I polished yesterday, writing this and a quick chat with a fellow food blogger.
Plus, my hubby and I made another batch of the cabbage & potato soup and I dreamed up some awesome breakfast recipes. I have now retrieved my son and his best buddy so I am off to listen to some audacious potty talk.
Later I will be sharing about a fun weekend event at Panera Bread in Boston (where the photo above was taken just prior the start).
How often do you clean your wood floors?
