Before I even get into the exciting news from Thermador, I have to ask: Did anything particularly lucky happen to you today, on 1/11/11/ ? I was lucky enough to do lots of baking, cooking, food tasting, spend two hours at the library with the kids and then two hours playing American Girl meets Hot Wheels. Lucky!
By chance, do you recall the trip I took to Thermador back in July? I am reminiscing and must say, it was a highlight of 2010. On this trip, I met the passionate people of Thermador, the amazing appliances (when we move, I plan to remodel the kitchen with my favs. from their showrooms), and food bloggers that have come to make positive changes in my business and personal life. Plus, while I was in Arizona, I was able to spend some time with one of my bridesmaids.
So, let me tell you that I was awed by the Thermador appliance showrooms so am excited to share that you can get a virtual showroom experience yourself. Today, Thermador launched the Thermador Web Experience. The website is an immersive cooking and product demonstration outlet that’s not only unique, but the first of its kind among major appliance brands. The site takes you into an interactive culinary interface that highlights the brand’s Masterpiece Series and Professional Series kitchens. The home screen gives the you the choice to either enter a Manhattan-style urban loft, showcasing the Masterpiece Series appliances; or a Malibu-style beach house, representative of the Professional Series line.
I chose the Professional Series line first (does that mean I should be living in Malibu?). I was welcomed by a man that looks very much like a neighbor mine. I went straight to clicking on the dishwasher and have decided that I need it JUST for the chefs tool drawer. I do not even need to hear more about how fabulous this dishwasher is. Next, I moved onto ranges and am now craving chocolate as I watched the demonstration on the extra low setting feature (go see what I mean). As if the range did not make me drool enough. Oh, was I distracted? Oopsy-daisy.
Any-who, go on over and check it out…..which kitchen/appliance line most appeals to you?
