My kids are big ham fans so this week I picked up a small ham (already cooked) and wanted to add a glaze to it so I went the citrus route.
I used a small can pineapple juice (from the ‘bar’ – don’t judge me), some orange juice and then added some garlic and fresh rosemary. I also added some agave nectar and a slurry of cornstarch. It did not come out as thick as I wanted however, I did not give it much time to do so. Normally, I would give it 30 minutes or so and this was a 10 minute prep.
Ingredients (serves 4-6)
2 lb spiral Ham, cooked
1/3 cup orange juice
1/3 cup pineapple juice, split
1 Tablespoon agave nectar
1 clove of garlic, smashed
2 springs fresh Rosemary
1 teaspoon cornstarch
Preheat oven according to instructions on the Ham. Place a saucepan over medium heat. Add the orange juice, 1/2 the pineapple juice and agave nectar. Whisk together and then add garlic and rosemary.
While the mixture is heating, mix 1 teaspoon of corn starch with the remaining pineapple juice and mix it thoroughly. Add the slurry to the saucepan and allow to cook about 10 minutes, stirring frequently.
Pour the glaze over the ham and bake according to manufacturer’s instructions.

What a great way to add some different flavors to ham! I know you made this for a weeknight meal, but I could see doing this for Easter dinner too!
